Annual East Coast Anusara Teacher’s Gathering and Teacher's Immersion
at the OMEGA Institute, Rhinebeck, NY

Taught by Amy Ippoliti

This dynamic 6-day intensive, which takes place at the height of the fall foliage season, is dedicated to the art of teaching Anusara Yoga. By bringing teachers together, practicing and refining our teaching skills, working with hands on, refining our eyes, and advancing our practice, we will gather tools to become more effective leaders in our community. In addition there will be time for contemplation and journal writing, designed to help with creating class themes and more streamlined attitudinal and technical instructions for our classes. The week includes an optional individual meeting with Amy to discuss your teaching direction, receive feedback on your teaching if applicable, and discuss your progress on the path as a teacher. Ty Burhoe will be leading a Tabla retreat simultaneously during ours, so expect some great entertainment and Classical Indian Music in the evenings! Total classroom hours: 30. This training is ideal for those working toward Anusara Yoga Certification. Open to all Anusara Yoga teachers, certified, affiliated, or graduates of an Anusara Teacher Training. See details on pre-requisites below.

Omega's lakeside campus is set on 195 acres of rolling hills and woodlands in the Hudson River Valley, just two hours north of New York City. The Hudson Valley is rich in history, cultural vitality, and natural beauty-a colorful mosaic of forests, farmlands, lovely old towns, and the mighty Hudson River. Omega is truly a peaceful oasis in a hurried world. To this end, Omega has made its campus a healing center, a place where you can relax, rejuvenate, and feel at home in the midst of nature's bounty and a community of warm, sincere and caring people. The beauty of Omega's gardens, lake, and wooded trails, the friendly staff, the wonderful food, and the facilities at our Wellness Center all support advanced learning and practicing.
